What is it?
One evening a year, the flower fields at Evelyne’s Farm light up on their own.
Firefly Festival is a summer night event for families, couples, and anyone who wants to slow down and watch something magical happen. It runs one night only — Friday, June 26, 2026.
Gates open at 6:00 PM. Music starts. Food vendors open. The fire gets lit. As the sun goes down, Christie gathers everyone for a talk about the fireflies — what they are, why this farm has so many of them, and what to look for.
Then you walk out to the fields, spread your blanket or your folding chair, and wait.
What to Expect
6:00 PM - The Evening Begins
Gates open at 6:00. Live music starts right away. Food vendors are open until 8:00 PM. The s’mores station is lit and available all night.
8:15 PM - Christie’s Firefly Talk
Christie gathers the group for 10 to 15 minutes to talk about fireflies. The science, the flash patterns, and why this property sees so many of them every June. It’s the best kind of nature lesson — given right before you walk into the middle of it.
Into the Fields
After the talk, everyone walks out to the flower fields together. If they aren't already, blankets go down and chairs get set up. The dark comes in slowly.
By 9:00 PM, the fields are glowing.
9:00 - 9:45 PM - Peak Viewing
This is what you came for. Sit quietly, watch, and let your eyes adjust. Christie and staff are nearby if you have questions, but this part is yours.
The event closes at 10:00 PM.
