Foraging Camp

What Grows Wild on the Farm — and What to Do With It

The farm is full of plants most people walk right past. This camp teaches children to stop and look.

Over three mornings, campers hike the fields and woods of Evelyne's Farm to identify common wild plants, learn how people have used them for generations, and turn what they harvest into something useful. They'll make a real herbal salve — from plant to finished product — and spend the final morning exploring the creek.

Every session includes morning farm chores, a Bible lesson, and hands-on learning that builds curiosity, confidence, and a real connection to the natural world.

Ages: 5–10 Schedule: Tuesday – Thursday, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM Cost: $50/day | $150 for all three days Capacity: 10 campers per session
